About Me

Julia Crozier, certified nutritionist

I am a certified holistic nutritionist. This means I take the approach of looking at the whole person, taking into account nutrition and a person’s social, emotional, and environmental well-being.

My overall focus is on women’s health, digestive health, and plant-based nutrition. What makes me different from every other Registered Dietician is my specific education in holistic health. Also, I have a strong background in epigenetics, molecular biology, stem cell, and ovarian cancer research, giving me a unique perspective on how food interacts with our bodies’ cellular level.

I received both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Oakland University, MI. I also completed my master’s thesis on cardiac stem cells, where I worked in a stem cell research lab for over three years. After graduation, I worked at the Wayne State Mott Center, working in an ovarian oncology research lab. During this time, I began my studies through the AFPA to become certified in holistic nutrition, where I learned how food affects us down to a cellular level and can be used as medicine.

I will be your guide

Nutrition Intuition is a company built upon a woman’s true passion; to simply help others. This company has helped empower women to become their healthiest and happiest selves, believe in themselves, and become their own health experts. My drive to educate comes from my past struggles. I know first-hand what it is like to suffer needlessly with my relationship with food and being held down by chronic illness.

As a certified holistic nutritionist, I will guide your health journey and help you identify the problem areas in your life, such as diet, lifestyle, and stressors. I strive to communicate the research, identify false media propaganda, and teach my clients to research their own products and foods properly. My goal is to fully educate my clients to walk away with the knowledge and confidence to apply what I have taught them to their everyday lives.

The healing journey begins with what’s on the end of your fork.

The healing journey begins with the foods you choose to consume. All plants, like fruits and vegetables, contain information. When digested, these nutrients are absorbed and used by our cells. Different components from food serve a function and will cause chemical modifications within our cells, changing the expression of our genes. This means turning them off or on, switching from a state of disease to health. This is also called epigenetics. It is what you eat, where you live & work, how you sleep, who you interact with, and much more that will affect your state of health. The great news is this means you are more in control of your health than you ever knew. But it all starts with the first step, what’s on the end of your fork.
