About Me

Julia Crozier, certified nutritionist

I am a certified holistic nutritionist. This means I take the approach of looking at the whole person, taking into account not only nutrition, but a person’s social, emotional, and environmental wellbeing. I received both my bachelors and masters degrees from Oakland University, MI. I completed my master’s thesis on cardiac stem cells where I worked in a stem cell research lab for over three years. I also worked at the Wayne State Mott Center after graduation, working in an ovarian oncology research lab. During this time I began my studies through the AFPA to become certified in holistic nutrition, where I learned how food affects us down to a cellular level and can be used as medicine. My focus is on women’s health, digestive health, and plant-based nutrition. What makes me different from every other Registered Dietician is I have specific education in holistic health, which is very different from the conventional systems others have trained in.

I will be your guide

This is a company that is built upon a woman’s true passion; to simply help others. This company has helped empower women to achieve their goals of becoming their healthiest and happiest self, to believe in themselves, and to become their own health expert. My drive to educate comes from my own past struggles. I know first-hand what it is like to suffer needlessly with my relationship with food and being held down by chronic illness.

I will be your guide on your health journey and help you identify the problem areas in your life, such as diet, lifestyle, and stressors. I strive to communicate the research, identify false media propaganda, and teach my clients to properly research their own products and foods. My goal is to fully educate my clients, so they can walk away with the knowledge and confidence to apply it to their everyday life.

The healing journey begins with what’s on the end of your fork.

Nutrition and food is the foundation of health. The healing journey begins with the foods you choose to consume. All plants, like fruits and vegetables, contain information. When digested, these nutrients are absorbed and used by our cells. Different components from food serve a function and will cause chemical modifications within our cells, and as a result, change the expression of our genes. This means turning them off or on, switching from a state of disease to health. This is also called epigenetics. It is what you eat, where you live & work, how you sleep, who you interact with, and much more that will affect your state of health. The great news is this means you are more in control of your health than you ever knew. Now let’s start with what’s on the end of your fork.
